I'm going to be the don of the floor for the next year... I've spent the last week in orientation and I'm full of excitement and ideas of how to make this an awesome year!
So first things first, I'm a big geek and I love to blog. I figure this is a great way to find out what's going on around the floor, in res and on campus. I'll post floor events here as well as other fun and exciting things going on in our area.My goal is to post SOMETHING every day. So even when there's no new events to speak of, I may put up a quote, or a link to an interesting website, or some pictures. Maybe even some trivia... I've been known for awarding fast and correct responders with prizes!...
Besides this I'll have posters up in the hallways and I'll probably also post "Fridge News". That's a newsletter you can find on the clips outside your suite doors. Another good place to check for news and fun stuff would be outside my own door. I'll be putting up a calendar that I'll update regularly.
I'm really big on communication. I'll let you guys know as much as I can. But, I also ask that you guys communicate with me. If there's something you want to do as a floor, a concern you have about my donning style, or anything else... please feel absolutely free to come talk to me! I'm very open to suggestions!Furthermore, I'll try to keep my door open as much as possible. When it's open feel free to wander on in for a chat. I love study distractions!
This will be my fourth and fifth term donning. Previously I have been placed in Ron Eydt Village, Village One and UW Place. Now, I've finally made it to the most sought after res on campus! I look forward to sharing this experience with all of you!
